Featured Blog Controversy: Why do we downsize and ignore the achievements of others?
The issue is that my blog, Indowaves, which appears on site blog.co.uk is, more often than not, selected as featured blog or, for that matter, blog of the day or blog of the week whatever it is. That has irked some of the British bloggers. An old lady blogger posted an objectionable post about it, wherein many bloggers entered in defamatory remarks. I had to intervene with a clarification. Thank God, I came to know about the drama in time.
Now I know when you emerge victorious as person of achievements, you end up paying a heavy price. I love to maintain a low profile and so always try not to flaunt my achievements in a big way with celebrations etc. However, I am really taken aback by set of gestures which take my simplicity for granted. To be honest, I was always aware of the fact that making one’s presence felt in a strong way on prominent foreign websites means a lot but I never got carried away. Indeed, it’s no joke to gain a larger than life presence amidst group devoid of Indian community. However, I was least aware of such vituperous outbursts.
It’s shocking. It’s not the first time I am facing such a veiled attack. I have frequently intercepted such veiled attacks in my long blogging journey. I started my blogging journey from this very blog.co.uk site, which was then in its nascent stage like my blogging. Luckily, both of us managed to taste the sweet fruits of hard labour. However, there were many rough episodes as well. In the very beginning, the hard hitting topics infuriated the English people and they accused me of “screwing them day and night”. When this did not work, they started finding fault with my grammar. Like always I managed them to convince in a stronger way that author’s ideas are of greater importance than his/her grammar. The explanation worked wonders. The critics turned silent. Later, they again raised their head and this time they called me “racist”. Once again I had enough arguments to prove otherwise. The noise makers /mischief makers once again got marginalized.
Now look at this new drama. Instead of appreciating my efforts, they are trying to prove it “automated”, calling it random. It’s really hilarious to watch how achievements leads to severe heartburn in hearts of under achievers! Look at the paradox. One of the prominent critic in this conversation, who treats the “featured blog” as “random” is himself lamenting that he just couldn’t have the pleasure of seeing his blog in that column as he was in Germany that time. The women who has initiated the debate treats it as a “lottery” even as she is furious as to why she couldn’t hit the jackpot? Isn’t that proves how insecure have we become since we just cannot anticipate/digest the success of others in right spirit? It’s surprising that most of the critics are the freshers- ones who fade into oblivion within a year or two. Anyway, I wish them good luck for their long blogging journey.
Anyway, coming back to the featured blog controversy, the explanation offered by me compelled the so-called critics to give way to defensive mode with weak justification like it was mere a curiosity and no such jealousy or cheap insinuation were behind the publication of her post. However, a close reading of her post and the comments published is enough to present true picture of the subliminal message echoed by the post. The very tone of the post, the type of conversation generated in the comment box and the implications conveyed contribute considerably to the overall complexity that she is being dishonest when she suggests that her post is merely an attempt to analyze the criteria meant for the featured blogs. There is more to it than what meets the eye.
The case is not that simple. It ’s quite apparent that real motive was to downsize the impact generated under the guise of ascertaining the criteria. Had that not been the case, the writer would dare not have implied on the basis incomplete details. For instance, if the writer is really ignorant about real factors, which make a blog attain the stature of featured blogs then how come she is so cocksure that selection is “random” or “automated” ? How come she ascribe the same reason in subtle way when she posts my article as an example? The impression she generates is that had the selection been a conscious one, the more deserving ones would find a place and not mine ones. Though she suggests in her comment that “researches” often delay the publication of post, it’s really frustrating that she just cannot realize this is the same reason which makes my posts gets delayed!
She states that there are many bloggers who are writing research oriented blogs daily but its mine and not theirs that are appearing in the featured section. Now look at her perverted pleasure. She expressed happiness that just after appearance of the post condemning selection made in the featured blog section her blog once again appeared in the featured blog column. Now it appears that “random” overnight turned into a respectable term, signifying merit. However, the day before, the very same selection process was flawed one. However, once her blog appeared, the automated gained a hallowed status! After all , she is a regular user in league with research oriented articles! Oh yes, she has coined one more parameter that only regular users should find a birth in featured section. Now one needs to ask her, what’s so amazing about posting daily that it should make the post find a place in featured blog section ? She boasts about research oriented articles but even a casual look at her articles will reveal the amount of research work done. The serious type of research work she boasts of is absolutely missing.
Even the most dull mind can see that her current post purportedly discussing criteria meant for featured blogs is in actuality is a veiled attack and a crude attempt to downsize the achievements. The harsh truth is that the discussion related with criteria is mere a facade. Was she sleeping till now that she didn’t came to notice the flaws ,if any, associated with the featured blogs? However, the moment she came to see my blog in the featured blog section for one more time, she all of a sudden gained realization that criteria fixed for featured blogs is flawed! All was right till I was not there. Only after my arrival the criteria became substandard. Interestingly , when I posted my comment there, the said lady gave the impression that she did a great favour by not deleting my comment. This very tone is missing when we find her virtually enjoying a casual remark that compares me in bad taste with another Indian blogger bearing somewhat the same name. At that moment, she never conveyed her displeasure to that blogger by stating that his personal remark would be deleted. However, she conveyed the same to me and others that she thought of deleting my comment. May I know why ?
Anyway,I must thank my admirers and supporters for acknowledging my worth in a right way. I must reiterate once again I am a simple person, who is merely interested in presenting thoughts that hit the mind and heart in a strong way. I am not carried away by loads of appreciation or depressed by waves of hatred. These are insignificant for me. However, the words of sincere admirers and critics shall always find a respectable place in my writing journey. They would continue to make me feel blissful, dejected and meditative!

Godhra Verdict: A Slap In The Face Of Secular Brigade Calling Train Burning An Accident
The verdict has brought on the fore the real face of Indian politics, proving that Indian political landscape is held hostage by ugly secular forces, which are hell bent to distort the face of reality. They are involved in sinister designs aimed at creating upheaval in various states, something proved by the people involved in the promotion of Naxalite movement. At this juncture, I wish to recall the uproar which hit the nation when Allahabad high court made it clear that disputed site is Lord Rama’s birthplace. The secular media shed lots of tears, labeling it a flawed judgment based on faith and not on evidences and reason. In other words, it provoked the Muslim parties to challenge the verdict in the Supreme court.
It has become need of the hour to expose misdeeds of secular intellectuals -the parasites which breed on macabre. Ironically, they are the first ones to speak in high terms about honouring the supremacy of judiciary and respecting the verdict of court. However, this is never the case. The Ayodhya verdict made the secular forces even question the intentions and judicial sense of judges, which is simply the case of contempt of court. The harsh reality is that secular forces operating in India, disguised as progressive forums, are more interested in pursuing the hate agenda in sophisticated forms. The main purpose of debates initiated by them is not to bring clarity on any issue but to create dichotomy of sorts, whose end purpose is to show constitutional bodies in wrong light.
Now let’s analyze some of the elements involved in the Godhra verdict. It would still be in public memories that how eager the UPA alliance was to treat the Godhra carnage as an accident. In fact, Central government forced the State to drop Prevention Of Terrorism Ordinance (POTO) invoked against those arrested, which was later re-invoked. It went on to form a Committee headed by former Supreme Court judge U C Banerjee to ascertain findings related with the Godhra carnage even as Commission under Commission of Inquiry Act was probing the Godhra incident. This shows that Congress is mother of appeasement policies. It can go to any extent to please the Muslims and Prime Minister in Congress regimes can even declare that resources belong to Muslims first. The way UC Banerjee Commitee was formed is indicative of the fact when it comes to vote-bank politics, the dignity of constitutional bodies becomes subordinate or, for that matter, means nothing. As expected, the U C Banerjee Committee, sounding more like a political body than a judicial body, opined train-burning was an accident and there is hardly any evidence to suggest that there was an external attack.
Thanks to the intervention of Gujarat high court , the UC Banerjee Commitee was declared “illegal” and “unconstitutional” since Nanavati-Shah Commission was already involved in fact finding. The Gujarat high court though did not sustain the up holding of POTA and the case regarding it is still pending in the Supreme Court. After the Godhra verdict delivered by the Special court, one can clearly infer that political compulsions have made politicians brutally rape the dignity of constitutional bodies. Prakash Javedkar sounds right when he says that ” The UPA’s efforts to give a political spin for electoral gains have been debunked. It was an eyewash of a report and completely manipulated.”
The attempts, which try to lessen the gravity of the incidents related with Hindu forces, often leave any conscious thinker stunned. It appears that only injustice done to minorities constitutes injustice! Rest is mere accident and hence trivial. In fact, any issue be it Rama Sethu or Temple at Ayodhya or mindless changes in Hindu laws the attempt is merely to humiliate the Hindu forces. The secular governments are ready to lie even under oath in Apex court to appease the minorities! The citizens of India needs to compel such secular bodies to reveal why they always work against the Hindu forces? The Hindus needs to shed their cowardice, which they often wish to be seen as decency. In complex times, when their opponents are not ashamed to go to any extent to make mockery of Hindu beliefs and ideals, the Hindus should stop heeding to pretensions of all sorts by being bold and straightforward in their approach.
It’s no secret that even minor incidents related with minorities is blown out of proportion and secular press be it in India or foreign lands leaves no stone unturned in painting Indian constitutional bodies in wrong colour. Look at the Binayak Sen case. The moment Raipur Session Court held him guilty of sedition, the whole secular forces went berserk. The same shrill cries that virtually fall in the realm of contempt of court became order of the day. We can see how protest marches , debates and campaigns are being organized to make mockery of the verdict.
It would be interesting to note that Chattisgarh High court rejected the bail plea when it was brought to its notice that Sen had strong links with the Maoists and that “the documents seized and the circumstances in totality qualify for the requirement for conviction on the charges of sedition.” The High court refused to accept the arguments, which suggested the case to be “a case of no evidence” and “political prosecution”. However, the secular forces, barking like the mad dogs, are engaged in spreading lies and concoctions about the whole case with an appeal to exhibit Egyptian like perseverance. True, the Indian courts have no right punish a man involved in seditious activities and , therefore, a revolution is needed to sabotage the constitutional bodies like courts.
Summing up, I wish to state that it’s time to teach a fitting lesson to all the organizations whether involved in media groups or operating in various capacities which try to create false impressions pertaining to the Hindu interests and causes. The Godhra verdict is a slap in the face of secular brigade, which tried it to project the train burning as an “accident”. The conscious citizens need to ponder over as to why anything remotely connected with Hindus becomes object of ridicule even when it involves brutal killings? The world shed lot of tears over the riots that hit the Gujarat after the Godhra carnage but loss of 59 kar sevaks meant nothing. It never became object of discussion in secular press other than that it was insignificant happening.
In fact, the secular press is not ready to digest the fact that Gujarat riots were directly triggered by Godhra carnage but at the same time the same secular minds believe that Godhra carnage was inevitable since gestures of kar sevaks gave wrong impressions. In other words, VHP’s fundamentalists policies resulted in the death. Such twisted and biased conclusions can be readily intercepted in the secular literature. In words of one prominent journalist ,the case is simple: Hindus provoke, Muslims suffer. That’s the impression, which the secular press wishes to project all the time.

Sri Ramakrishna: A Real Master Who Can See God With Naked Eyes !
It’s beyond human intellect to comprehend in totality the attributes of a real Master. Why? Because to know Lord you have to become Lord. Sri Ramakrishna could undoubtedly be hailed as supreme incarnation of the Parabrahman. He is the perfect role model for the enthusiastic seekers who wish to merge their identity in Lord. Ramakrishna is regarded as the real Master by their disciples. While laying down the characteristic of qualified teacher Sri Aurbindo stated “The master is one who has risen to a higher consciousness and being and he is often regarded as its manifestation or representative. He not only helps by his teaching and still more by his influence and example, but by a power to communicate his own experience to others”
Sri Ramakrishna graced this divine land on February 18,1836 in a village named Kamarupkar. Ironically, the decent representatives of Lord always appear at times when the atmosphere is laden with confusion and chaos. As a matter of fact they are like gentle wind amidst the fury of demoniacal interests. Other than human garb, which they use as a mean to wonder among us like an ordinary soul, there is no other point of similarity, which allows to strike a bond with these rare souls.
Ramakrishna had a unique childhood. Even then he was in league with his “sublimity of his aim and the one-pointedness of his application to them”. Once the person who was chosen to play the part of Shiva in a play, named “Conversation between Shiva and Parvati”, was forced by the circumstance to withdraw his name at the last moment. Ramakrishna got the chance to provide colour to the role of Shiva on the stage. No need to mention that he transcended the human consciousness while playing the part and for next few hours remain lost in that particular mood. His childhood provides a glimpse into his bent of mind stuffed with extraordinary perceptions. Ideally, it allowed him to gain insight, which invariably shattered the illusions of this dreamy would.
In his village school, when others were busy in parroting the sterile instructions of the teacher, he toyed with ideal which was not normal by any standard in that age. “What purpose will it all serve-this hard study, this sitting up late at right, this rumination of the glosses and commentaries? Will this help me in attaining the truth? “Obviously, he did not wish to end up as ‘finished product’ much like his school teacher. He rebelled against this sort of teaching system which enabled man to sail in the ocean of materialism with ease. But in the process extracting a heavy price for teaching this art of deception. We are unconsciously turned into monsters that trample other human beings without any trace of remorse. It wouldn’t be out of place to observe that in our times the realistic education has come to mean the ability to laugh at the miseries of fellow beings and name it pragmatism.
One of the commonplace assumptions regarding the bent of mind of Indian saints is that they lack scientific temper. In other words, they just swallow the facts owing to their inability to discern them in rational ways. The reality is otherwise. Ramakrishna passionately followed all through life that “He shall accept anything as true only after having subjected it to close scrutiny. If it stands the test, I will reduce it to practice. And I shall not look down upon anything of the world if it is not demonstrably untrue”. This may be the reason why apparently antagonistic soul like Narendra could hardly resist from surrendering his dreams at his feet. This curious mixture of both these worlds-the earthly and the heavenly-created deep impression on Vivekananda’s mind who didn’t take much time to be the vehicle of his purpose. So much that he openly confessed that “Ever since our first meeting, it was the Master alone, and no one else, not even my own mother and brothers, who had uniform faith in me. That faith and that love of his have bound me to him forever. It was the master alone who knew how to love. He did love, while others only feign to love for the sake of their self-interest”.
How intimate was their relationship could be gauged from this hilarious incident. Once Ramakrishna offered the Hookah to Narendra. Perplexed looking Narendra could not turn down this strange offer. He stopped smoking after two or three puffs. The Master then took that Hookah and as he was about to smoke Narendra, stopped him to remind that he should first wash his hands and then carry out the smoking business. This infuriated Ramakrishna and what followed was display of ecstatic mood mired in uncontrollable anger-a familiar sight for Narendra having spent a long time with him. “You rascal, you are awfully conscious of differences” uttered Ramakrishna before gaining normalcy. The smoking session moved ahead with that very Hookah which Narendra had sealed with impunity with his lips.
In earlier year of Sadhana, the group comprising of Narendra, Kesava and others was greatly influenced by Western Philosophy. Narendra however, tried to counteract the charm of alien literature. Something so evident when he quotes Hamilton who felt that “where philosophy ends there religion begins.” It wasn’t easy for the Master to de-construct these minds shaped in convictions gathered from here and there. Even Master was bit worried about their flirtations with bogus reading material. “I hope he did not do so because some Western scholars had expressed that opinion.”
Under the influence of Western Philosophy Vevekanand held the opinion that God unknown and unknowable. Ramakrishna came to intuitively apprehend his dilemma regarding the true nature of Lord. He advised Narendra to seek the Lord’s grace which he said could result from sincere prayer offered from heart aching for Lord’s darshana. Such feelings when condensed in form of words may read like this “O God, I don’t know Thy nature, do Thou manifest Thyself to me as Thou really art”. Vivekananda, who earlier medicated on formless Brahman with attributes, decided to anticipate Lord in its real form. So he started praying “O Lord make me fit to see your real nature”.
What the Master wanted to convey through this episode was that the Lord couldn’t be governed by any particular belief. He has form and lo and behold formless as well. And thus Narendra bid adieu to doubts in this regard. Being now aware of His glory Swami Vivekananda suggests seekers to unite their heart and mind with the fountain of all bliss.” Seek for the Highest, aim at that Highest, and you shall reach the Highest.”
Sri Saradadevi, the divine consort of Sri Ramakrishna, also considered the Master ‘embodiment of bliss itself’. That is why she advised seekers to rely on Ramakrishna in order to remain above the pangs of worldliness. Vindicating the fact that Ramakrishna was not an ordinary soul she said, “Really and truly Sri Ramakrishna was God himself. He assumed this human body to remove the sorrows and sufferings of others”. According to the holy mother Ramakrishna played the part of both Maheswara and Maheswari. All through her life she translated into action the will of Master. Perhaps, she has known too well that Lord alone is the real and the world illusionary. It’s really hard nut to crack to cross the ocean of desires partially owning to seeker’s bent of mind but more largely because of Mahamaya’s mysterious designs. “A person may have no relative anywhere but Mahamaya may cause him to keep a cat and thus make him worldly. Such is her play”, observed mother in lighter vein. Unmistakably it may sound pessimistic had not she sent supreme souls to show us the way amidst drama of Sattva, Rajas and Tamas. The moral of this whole story is that a soul must take refuge in these Mahatmas (super souls) if he truly wishes to strike an eternal bond with Lord. Such souls alone provide security blanket from the onslaught of worldly desires.
A man who is in sync with sincerity of his purpose finds himself sooner or later in company of the Lord. Let us never forget that real aim of the individual wondering on this planet is realization. Other than this all other concerns are bound to open the floodgate of misery. In this journey towards the Lord the company of godly souls acts as a catalyst. Our intrinsic nature compels us to return back to our source. It’s only matter of time when the restlessness to attain the Highest germinates in our heart. Indeed, the life goes in waste if it is not used as an instrument to establish perfect communion with the Lord. Finally, I would like to refer to statement of the Master, one surcharged with mystical undertone, which establishes his tie-up with the Lord – “All those who are living their final lives in the world will come here, and all those who have, even once, truly called on God cannot but come here.” Yes, it’s imperative for the seekers to honour those who share the platform with Lord.

Know Love Before Celebrating Valentine’s Day
To talk about love when struggles of daily lives have crippled our emotions, seems out of sync with modern times. The Y2K generation lacks the sense and sensibility to appreciate its sublime aspects. What’s more, a majority lacks wisdom to make distinction between love and lust- a prerequisite to appreciate its sublime aspects. Cynical as it may appear our ability to perceive life in its true colour has been eroded by monsters of modernity leaving us no better than ‘corpse within its grave.’
Being devoid of realistic perceptions of life and under influence of western culture a maddening rage has come to envelop senses of youths whose Kuch bhi karega attitude has shattered all barriers for Kambakht love’s sake. With these sorts of distorted vision can we ever become receptive to its inspirational aspects? The moot point is whether these programmed minds can ever experience the essence of beauty which according to Krishnamurti can only be grasped ‘when the mind and the heart are completely in harmony and that beauty cannot be gotten by a shallow mind that is caught in the disorder of this world’?
It has never been so taxing, like nowadays, for the grey cells to rationalize the attitude of new generation. It’s strange but true youths depict a remarkable global similarity in devising ways and means to satiate their beastly desires all in name of love. It has become order of the day to glorify vicious tendencies to an extent that weaker sex have come to accept molestation and eve-teasing as routine affairs. How else one could muster the courage to strangulate his girlfriend and set it ablaze in flames with so much ease and no sign of guilt?
When ‘Jism’(desires of body) alone throb’s in our veins and dictums proclaiming the distorted fancies of imagination rule our instincts nothing else could prevail but ‘a mind as hungry as the sea to engulf nothing but infamous deeds.’ To despair of innocent minds and sensitive hearts full prospects of true love is nowhere in sight nor the maddening choir has left any scope to ‘fill the cup that left clears today of past regret and future fears.’ The complexities of life have pervaded the atmosphere with unfailing zest leaving no room for lovers to ‘ride, ride together, for ever ride’ in bliss. Also to be equally blamed are the burdens of fast paced life which coupled with professional commitment have nearly wiped out our vigour.
However human life without love would be black and white. For sagging heart caught in the turmoil of life there could be no better panacea than love. In fact, love can’t be set aside for it has eternal bond with life. The need of the hour is to constantly illumine love by higher spiritual perception and in ‘the degree that it is thus illumined will it become an agent of light and power.’ Let it not become a medium to cater instincts of lower self but a channel to establish communion with higher forces of life. This alone should be at focal point of all our aspiration hovering around true love.

Ensuring Rights Of Men Does Not Make One Male Chauvinist Pig !
It’s decent in our times to talk about the flaws of men. It’s indecent to expose the flaws of women in modern times. A man becomes a “Male Chauvinist Pig” (MCP) when he attempts to resurrects his own rights. However, the woman emerges as a feminist when she talks about her own rights minus the responsibilities. Remember, her hatred towards the man is decent as that ensures her rights.
Man’s hatred towards woman does not ensure his rights but it converts him into a misogynist. Isn’t it the right time to clear confusion as why such erroneous distinctions have come into existence ? Why it’s honourable to talk about the rights of woman but when one talks about the rights of man one immediately turns either into a misogynist or MCP?
Let’s stop male bashing. Let’s stop creating upheaval in society by heeding to the irrational demands of the feminist groups. Let’s stop creating laws which in name of empowering women are only breaking homes. Often we ignore the big picture in a mad rush to tackle the immediate concerns. There is no point in treating men as criminals when women are equally governed by same weaknesses, which influence men. Then what’s the need to give added advantage to them in many issues ? They are equally susceptible to negative influences that chase men.
For instance, when a case is filed under Dowry act or Domsetic Violence Act, the man is presumed to be guilty right from the very day of the filing of the case. By the time, the accused is proven innocent the loss becomes irreparable. Where is the balanced sense of justice involved in the whole drama? Why is investigation in such cases one sided? If we visit the Indian jails, we would find that a huge number of males have been booked under such cases for no fault of their own. It’s a real shame that many of them remain behind the bars as under-trials as there is no legal body to represent their cause plus the strict laws make their early release an impossible task.
So is it a crime to represent their cause at suitable forums ? Should people fighting for these victims of fate be hailed as Male Chauvinist Pigs ? Answers, please !

The World Of Indian Lawyers Is Chased By Problems !
The ever-increasing number of lawyers are, in some eyes, responsible for falling standards of jurisprudence at most of the Bars in India. This huge number is making establishment of competent Bars a tough task. This large number of advocates, devoid of better standards, are result of mass manufacturing of the advocates done by the Bar Council Of India in the previous years. Now the things have changed considerably in the legal world. Much still needs to be done but the encouraging developments are already in effect now. In fact, now it’s a tough task to get enrolled as a lawyer. A tough entrance test besides a new syllabus that has additional topics like Cyber Crime makes the task of wannabe lawyers a tough one.
Now the Bar Council Of India has introduced another qualifying exam, which has become mandatory for the advocates to qualify to become eligible for practicing before the court. It’s a post-enrollment qualification. I also wish to inform you that one of the reasons why fees has been raised is to discourage disinterested souls to pursue the legal courses. Interestingly, Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), which is a centralised test for admission to prominent National Law Universities in India has come into effect.
I am not saying that all will be well but the way reforms have hit the legal world, I am sure there will be positive developments in legal world. And please, don’t blame the lawyers alone for fall in their standards. There are many factors, which have led to fall in standards. May be the people sitting in air conditioned rooms don’t realize that a lawyer’s job, at all stages, is the toughest one. It’s no joke to be an advocate either you are successful or unsuccessful. The worse aspect is that in the very beginning the lawyers get moulded into wrong mindset. Half of the lawyers wish to make more money as quickly as possible instead of becoming aware of the art of advocacy. Much problem is faced by the advocates hailing from rural belt. Rarely they are able to argue before the court as even today the arguments are delivered in English at High Court and Supreme Court.
In my early years of practicing, I came to notice strange attitude of seniors towards their juniors. Most of them are obsessed merely to have huge numbers of juniors as showpiece items for their chambers. Most of the seniors treat their juniors as bonded labours. This is very demoralizing for the bright minds, who joins a chamber to have better legal insights. Unless you happen to be related with lawyers relation-wise, the chances of receiving legal tips are remote. Even the bench when comes face to face with dumb freshers never fails to taunt the seniors. However, a senior cares a damn.
Worse, a young lawyers is made used to abusive language and corrupt practices, which one of my friend so well expressed in Hindi:” Is ko kholna bolte hai”( This is called making one get prepared to bear the harsh realities with ease). However, the greatest setback comes when after spending many years in chambers a lawyer emerges as a middleman. All he/she can do is get as many cases from one’s native place, pass the case to the seniors and you leave the scene with your commission. No wonder, this has made lawyers treat their clients as milch cows. And thus, the case remains pending for many years. Of late, to make students have first-hand-experiences of court room a new topic called Moot Court has been added into the syllabus. However, lack of infrastructure has not made it flourish in true colour.
Law is a jealous mistress. It doesn’t tolerate any other side-by-side professions. Against that backdrop, just imagine how cruel it is to talk about the higher standards ? Once the officer gets an appointment in either private or government job the said officer receives host of facilities. Let me please know from those, who complain about falling standards,as to what our system has to offer to these young and promising lawyers ? Barely nothing. In fact, even the bench too is guilty of disappointing and discouraging lawyers when it allows not young lawyers to present their case merit wise. Instead, the bench dismisses their case if that’s not on par with their likes and dislikes which a bench hails as its “discretionary power”. The idea to treat case format wise and not merit wise is a negative and disastrous trend. The bench should avoid it.
They make their own ways with no help from anybody. They do not have even a seat on which they can sit and relax. From senior’s chamber to courtroom and back again to the chamber, they keep shunting from morning till midnight. In between they have to go through huge number of books and files. They have also to deal with policemen and High Court officials in confrontation mode. I would love to know is there any other profession that offers as much complexities and risk as one comes to witness in a lawyer’s life ?
To hell with stereotyped versions about the role and presence of lawyers. In reality , this profession is just not meant for average or chicken-hearted souls. So just not undermine the role of lawyers. True, a fall in standards is strikingly noticeable but then do take note of the fact that greater efforts are in action to resurrect the image of lawyers. Entry of global patterns and increased salaries of government lawyers are attracting better minds and that’s a good sign.

अभी तो केवल यहाँ यही तमाशा चल रहा है “You scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours”.
A Prostitute Is Better Than A Political Creature Of Our Times !
It’s no secret that one of the political parties has mastered the art of superimposing their lies over the truths. Their “Dabangai” (Hooliganism) is well known. No body can beat them when it comes to distortion of truths. More or less, all political parties enter in concoction of facts but the people belonging to this political party excel at this art of lying.
Not only that, like a prostitute, they are ready to sleep with anyone and when their interest is over ready to discard them within a second but not without justifying their act with help of heavy terminology. In other words, even a sex worker is in league with some morals but leaders belonging to this party are devoid of even that much sense of morality.
“Hum to Jhooth Bolega Satta Satta Karega” (We shall lie always for the sake of power) is the mantra that they repeat often. No need to ask the name. Anyway, what’s in a name? Enough hint has already been given !The truth is that the political parties have mastered the art of deceiving people ! Politics has become worse than a sex industry.
